Many of Vintage Flyer Decal sets now take advantage of the new AccuScribe Paint Mask System. High quality, removable, adhesive backed, calendered vinyl film is digitally cut in the exact shape of the decal's artwork. These precise masks allow for easy and extremely accurate painting to help insure perfect outlines around decal artwork and insure maximum opacity. Here's how it works:
STEP #1: Remove each vinyl paint mask from its backing and apply to your model. Once all the masks are in place, finish masking the model with your own tape.
STEP #2: Using light coats, airbrush or "rattle spray" your model as desired.
STEP #3: Once dry, remove the vinyl tape masks and any of your own masking tape. Your model is now painted with the exact demarcation lines in place.
STEP #4: Finish by applying the decals as instructed. And don't worry if you make a mistake. Additional paint masks can be ordered on the same page as the decal sheet.
